The concept is simple but brilliant - talk to your neighbours, agree a date, get permission from the local authority, let everyone know and reclaim the streets for play.
Maybe this could become a regular event for communities? Close the road to traffic from 3pm on Fridays and let the children play, give neighbours an opportunity to meet and strengthen the local community. Sounds sensible to me.
