Having spent most of the summer boring friends & family with my job-hunting plans I've at last got my act together and have posted & emailed a variety of companies over the past week, as well as signing up to agencies.
Although not unexpected, coming up against the 'previous experience required' wall does feel a bit like a backward step. Does nothing I've done so far count? Although I have an impending - horrifying - birthday looming (it's alright, I'm not hinting - merely stating) and yet feel like I'm just starting out. Bit odd but I'm sure this isn't unique.
And just for the record, I'm not above making tea. Too desperate sounding? Erm ... probably.
